Ogilvy has been growing brands and businesses since 1948. Today, they build on that rich legacy through Borderless Creativity — operating, innovating, and creating at the intersection of talent and capabilities.
This evolved brand philosophy called for an evolved visual identity. Building on the full rebrand from 2018 developed in partnership with COLLINS, Ogilvy 485 refined the brand color palette and introduced a new tartan pattern that illustrates the intersections where the most exciting creation and innovation happens.
In creating the pattern, our team dug back into the past, looking at archival photos of David Ogilvy donning the traditional Scottish pattern. Throughout the research, our team immersed ourselves in the agency’s history and heritage, all in service of creating something new and fresh.
